For the aristocratic couple, Countess Anna and Count Karl von Stauffenberg, there was no place more beautiful for their wedding than their own castle in Bavaria, Germany.
Beautifully settled in a rural village, the old world renaissance castle sits enthroned in the shape of an island in the castle lake. This was the perfect scenery for their iconic ceremony.
Anna is an ex-fashion designer so all of her choices for the wedding day have been anchored in her personal sense of style. Using a thoughtful mixture of family owned antiques and beautiful flowers to adorn the natural surroundings, they created an utterly romantic ceremony setting that exuded a sense of understated elegance. Locally farmed fruits of the seasons and lemonades have been the most heavenly companions for the summery aperitif party in the lush and whimsical castle garden. A summer wedding truly inspired by mother earths delights, renaissance architecture and the art of gathering.
Afterwards their guests have been invited for a magical dinner in the recently refurbished old riding hall of the couple. The floral arrangements for this wedding are just out of this world. Blousey, seasonal pastels mixed with coral color pops sit side by side with lush green leaves and mellow peaches for an ethereal look, all thoughtfully curated for an old world castle wedding in the countryside.
