"I wanted a more fashion-forward dress, no lace and wanted my dress to be memorable. I didn’t want to be traditional; I guess this stems from working in Fashion and for Net-A-Porter."

Our breathtaking wonderful bride Danielle is a fashion editor, so you can read all about her style choices directly from herself: “For me, our wedding day was about being focused on every detail. We wanted to make sure that every single of those details and finishing touches matched our personalities and style - from the flowers to the table settings, food, decor and music that rang through our very essence. A harmonious aesthetic that showcased our unique characters and story, while making sure that the experience was the most wonderful and memorable day for us and all the people we loved. I carried a loose meadow bouquet with pops of cherry blossoms, garden roses, lilac, ranunculus, very soft parchments to pinks and soft creams tied with grey grosgrain ribbon. The talented Scarlet & Violet team curated artistry at each table. A play of different heights with various beautifully cut glass & pressed glass vases which were filled with a wild mix of creams; ethereal pale pinks and blushes with mini hurricane lamps and tea lights. I believe that we used about 200+ tea lights to fill the arrow alcoves in the barn and on the tables, creating a magical atmosphere. My heart longed for as much candlelight as possible to create my own perfect ambience. Additionally, that light looked stunning and flattering on the skin (you would think I was a beauty editor!) but also elevated everything. We infused each table with our chosen Jo Malone Candle wedding scent, lit half an hour before the guests arrived to achieve a wafting effect.”
